ABOUT OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMME
Join us for an engaging and interactive learning experience that helps young people and parents understand the realities of knife crime and its impact on our communities. Our education sessions encourage open conversations, challenge myths, and give participants the knowledge and confidence to make positive, informed choices.
Our sessions are designed for children aged 8 and upwards, as well as parents, carers and guardians. We work with schools, youth organisations and community groups to raise awareness of the risks, consequences and emotional impact of knife-related violence, helping to prevent tragedies before they happen.

Inspired by the story of Owen Dunn, our workshops highlight the devastating effects knife crime has on families, friends and communities. Through Owen’s story, we encourage participants to reflect on their own choices, challenge harmful behaviours, and understand how they can be part of creating safer environments for everyone.
During our sessions, we explore a range of important topics, including what knife crime really is, what types of knives are banned, and the UK laws surrounding carrying a knife. We look at how knife crime affects individuals and communities, why some people choose to carry knives and exploitation. We also discuss what to do if someone has been stabbed, the realities of life sentences and joint enterprise.
We believe in education through facts, not fear. Our sessions are engaging, interactive and age-appropriate, encouraging open discussion and real understanding. Every participant deserves to learn in a space where they feel safe to ask questions and express themselves.
By combining awareness, empathy and empowerment, we aim to help young people and parents make positive decisions, support one another and stay safe. Together, we can build stronger communities and a future free from knife violence.
