Debbie Brown

Debbie is part of the Education Workshop Team, delivering sessions to children and young people across a range of settings, including schools, colleges, and youth groups. With over 30 years’ experience working in local education, Debbie brings deep knowledge and understanding to her role.

Through her work as a SENCO, Debbie has supported some of the most vulnerable families and is acutely aware of the risks young people can face. This experience drives her passion for education as a tool for prevention, empowerment, and positive decision-making.

The mission is deeply personal to Debbie, who is committed to making a real difference by educating children and young people and giving them the best possible chance to make safe, informed choices.

Alongside this, Debbie also leads the education union across Swindon’s schools and colleges, supporting over 1,800 educators.
